COFFEE FOREST SPICE ARTISANALLY PRODUCED BY MAHESH, PAZHANI MALAI, INDIA

BLACKEST BLACK PEPPER

Choosing Certified Climate-Positive Coffee benefits everyone—from wildlife to farmers to the people who enjoy each cup. Certified Climate-Positive Coffee means the coffee is grown within rich biodiversity, surrounded by a variety of food crops and medicinal plants that farmers can also sell. This diversified system supports true financial independence, unlike monocrop coffee farming that forces farmers to rely on someone else to pay them a fair price.

NOURISHED, NURTURED, AND POLLINATED BY BIODIVERSITY

At the first sight you will notice - it is the blackest batch of black pepper you will see - it is close to impossible to find such quality in retail stores. The intensity of flavour you will experience instantly as you take a first sniff. This Blackest Black Pepper is a rainfed produce from Mahesh's Natural Farm in Pazhani Malai Western Ghats Region, Tamilnadu, India.

Meticulously harvested in multiple rounds by skilled hands, the choicest peppercorns are selected with care. They are naturally grown without the use of poisons or chemicals. The hardy plants have, over time, learned to withstand pests and diseases, passing that inherent resilience on to those who use the pepper.

The peppercorns are manually threshed, washed, and curated in a unique process that draws out their intense pungency and deep natural blackness. They are traditionally winnowed and carefully garbled, offering a black pepper experience unlike any other.

Nourished, nurtured, and pollinated entirely by nature’s biodiversity, this pepper comes directly from the farm of Mahesh, the Natural Farmer. Learn more about his farm by clicking the button below.

We gratefully acknowledge that we currently live, play, and work on the unceded traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We honour and respect the rich history, cultural heritage, and ongoing contributions of the indigenous communities who have stewarded this land for generations. We are committed to learning, listening, and standing in solidarity with these Nations as we continue our operations on this sacred land. We also equally express our gratitude for the indigenous peoples around the world, especially those who protect the tropical forests of the coffee-growing regions.
