Special-ordered ad a medium roast and made as a pour-over using Hario. Wow! It's a perfect cup for breakfast - has some notes of vanilla, but an orange flavor comes through. Not citrus-sour though. Very smooth, some chocolate as well. I've also tried this as an espresso shot - again, smooth with a more concentrated orange flavor. Blue Heron is great as a medium roast.

We gratefully acknowledge that we currently live, play, and work on the unceded traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We honour and respect the rich history, cultural heritage, and ongoing contributions of the indigenous communities who have stewarded this land for generations. We are committed to learning, listening, and standing in solidarity with these Nations as we continue our operations on this sacred land. We also equally express our gratitude for the indigenous peoples around the world, especially those who protect the tropical forests of the coffee-growing regions.
