About the event

Join the Victoria Specialty Coffee Club for a monthly gathering that celebrates coffee lovers from all backgrounds! Every third Saturday, we come together at the Green Cuisine Specialty Coffee Roastery, located in the courtyard level of Market Square in Downtown Victoria, BC. Each month’s theme is shaped by the interests of that week’s attendees, creating a unique and evolving experience each time.

Your ticket includes a handcrafted specialty coffee beverage and a thoughtfully curated food pairing, inviting you to savor the experience. All coffees served meet the highest quality and ethical standards of the specialty coffee industry, ensuring that each cup is as responsible as it is delicious.

Hosted by Praveen Ponraj, Founder, Coffee Artist, and Biodiversity Conservation Photographer at Climate Wave Coffee Research Institute and Academy, this event offers an opportunity to unwind, connect, and dive into the art and culture of specialty coffee.

We gratefully acknowledge that we currently live, play, and work on the unceded traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We honour and respect the rich history, cultural heritage, and ongoing contributions of the indigenous communities who have stewarded this land for generations. We are committed to learning, listening, and standing in solidarity with these Nations as we continue our operations on this sacred land. We also equally express our gratitude for the indigenous peoples around the world, especially those who protect the tropical forests of the coffee-growing regions.
