About the event

A lifetime is not enough to experience everything that coffee has to offer. We all hear about Arabica, but did you know Arabica is just one species among over 100 coffee plants? Arabica alone has more than 60 varieties, each offering a unique tasting experience. Beyond single-origin coffee, we can begin to explore the diverse flavors of single-varietal specialty coffees.

During this mindful coffee tasting experience, you will be introduced to a surprise single-varietal coffee each week. You won’t know in advance how it will be brewed—whether as espresso, pour-over, or another method. The goal is to encourage you to embrace the experience as it comes, with curiosity and openness, just like life. I will frequently change the single-varietal coffee or brewing technique, so you can always return to enjoy new flavors and reconnect with the community over a great cup of coffee and a thoughtful pairing.

We gratefully acknowledge that we currently live, play, and work on the unceded traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. We honour and respect the rich history, cultural heritage, and ongoing contributions of the indigenous communities who have stewarded this land for generations. We are committed to learning, listening, and standing in solidarity with these Nations as we continue our operations on this sacred land. We also equally express our gratitude for the indigenous peoples around the world, especially those who protect the tropical forests of the coffee-growing regions.
